The Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna has watched nearly a thousand years of history, art and genius unfold. Today, beneath its ancient frescoes, we frame a masterpiece of contemporary textile art.
The cameo of this Drop is made from a precious three-dimensional fabric. It is not a print, not simple embroidery: it is a genuine sculpture of leaves in silver thread, stitched onto a delicate sheer mesh, hand-applied to the gold-tone galvanized brass frame. A play of light and ethereal elegance. One of a kind. The irregularities of the fabric's cut are part of the work.

Some cameos in the TailorSuite collection and in our Drops are made from fine fabrics, in some cases original archival fabrics from high-fashion productions — not every product includes these. When present, such cameos are hand-worked in our atelier in Bologna: applied, never printed or reproduced.
Gamberini Bag is a fully independent brand. The artisanal use of these fabrics does not imply any affiliation, authorization, sponsorship, or approval by the rights holders of the original fabric brands. Every Gamberini Bag is an autonomous creation, born from our micro-tailoring process.
Natural irregularities in the fabric's cut, where present, are part of the finished work, not a flaw.
