Description
The vibrant yellow of Mimosa leather meets the graphic mark of the East. This Drop was born at Palazzo d'Accursio, among the halls of Bologna's Collezioni Comunali d'Arte, on the occasion of an exhibition dedicated to Japanese characters. The common thread is the essentiality of the mark: the cameo's abstract motifs engage in dialogue with the graphic rigor of the Eastern characters on display.
The featured cameo is made from fine original archival silk, with an abstract design that plays with shapes and contrasts, never becoming figurative. A perfect visual short-circuit between the fabric's graphics and the geometry of the characters on display.
