Giulia Sollai is an eclectic artist born in Cagliari but Bolognese by adoption. In Bologna he studied visual arts, painting and applied arts at the Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in illustration.
Giulia's art embraces, with the delicacy of her line, different sectors, such as fashion, design, publishing and advertising. His works come to life in his home-studio in Bologna, La casetta dell'autore , in the city centre, where he also hosts exhibitions and artistic events.
In 2020 some of the illustrations from Giulia Sollai's t-shirt collection were the protagonists of the Gamberini Bag limited edition capsule . A selection of illustrations where the feminine and nature are released in all their evocative power.
The collaboration was inaugurated with an exhibition event hosted at the artist's house, where various looks were presented, combining Giulia's t-shirts with the wonderful vintage garments of Reclectic Bazar and our bags.
